Monthly Meditation Question: (Please meditate and journal daily from the following question): Am I truly interested in the things of God? The kingdom life? Is my daily walk evident to others that God and I are one?
Week 1:
Adoration:
Monday: Psalm 119:4 (MSG) You, God, prescribed the right way to live; now you expect us to live it.
Tuesday: Psalm 119:5 (MSG) Oh, that my steps might be steady, keeping to the course you set
Wednesday: Psalm 119:6, 7 (MSG) Then I'd never have any regrets in comparing my life with your counsel. 7 I thank you for speaking straight from your heart; I learn the pattern of your righteous ways.
Thursday: Psalm 119:8 (MSG) I'm going to do what you tell me to do; don't ever walk off and leave me.
Friday: Psalm 119:9, 10 (MSG) How can a young person live a clean life? By carefully reading the map of your Word. 10 I'm single-minded in pursuit of you; don't let me miss the road signs you've posted.
Saturday: Psalm 119:11 (MSG) I've banked your promises in the vault of my heart so I won't sin myself bankrupt.
Meditation: “Judge Yourself”
One of the biggest things this generation keeps saying is, “Don’t Judge Me!” No one prefers to be judged by others. However, several years ago I found myself crying out, “judge me, please” in an attempt to crucify my flesh and work on the things about me, that I had become blind in seeing. The danger and probably one problem in this, was allowing some careless people to take open season “pot shots” at me, looking for ways to just hurt me rather than help heal me. In the end, the most important thing any of us can do is live our lives in total honesty, daily judging ourselves, to note whether we be “of the faith.” Then, make the necessary adjustments and keep it moving. Persistent, purging prayer is a must. What that looks like, something each of us needs to take the journey to discover. Think on these things!
Monday: II Corinthians 13:5 (NASB) Test yourselves to see if you are in the faith; examine yourselves! Or do you not recognize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you—unless indeed you fail the test?
Tuesday: I Corinthians 11:31 (NASB) But if we judged ourselves rightly, we would not be judged.
Wednesday: Galatians 6:3, 4 (NASB) For if anyone thinks he is something when he is nothing, he deceives himself. 4 But each one must examine his own work, and then he will have reason for boasting in regard to himself alone, and not in regard to another.
Thursday: Job 13:23 (NASB) “How many are my iniquities and sins? Make known to me my rebellion and my sin.
Friday: I John 3:19-21 (NASB) We will know by this that we are of the truth, and will assure our heart before Him 20 in whatever our heart condemns us; for God is greater than our heart and knows all things. 21 Beloved, if our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence before God;
Saturday: Romans 12:3 (NASB) For through the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think more highly of himself than he ought to think; but to think so as to have sound judgment, as God has allotted to each a measure of faith.

Meditation: “Identifying Your Idols”
When we were kids, one of the favorite games we used to play was “Hide and Seek”. One person would cover their eyes and count to ten and the others would run and hide. At the count of ten, the search was on to find those in hiding before they could get back to the counting post, which was safe ground. If you got caught, you were relegated to become the counter. If you never caught anyone, you just kept going back to the post to count and chase people. Listen my beloved. There are idols hiding from us that we have to chase down and catch. We have been “on the pole counting” long enough. Every “idol” that is hindering our freedom must be found and destroyed. This is not a game! Think on these things!
Monday: Revelation 2:5, 6 (NASB) Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent. 6 Yet this you do have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
Tuesday: John 15:1-5 (NASB) “I am the true vine, and My Father is the vinedresser. 2 Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit, He prunes it so that it may bear more fruit. 3 You are already clean because of the word which I have spoken to you. 4 Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. 5 I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.
Wednesday: Psalm 135:15-18 (NASB) The idols of the nations are but silver and gold, The work of man’s hands. 16 They have mouths, but they do not speak; They have eyes, but they do not see;
17 They have ears, but they do not hear, Nor is there any breath at all in their mouths. 18 Those who make them will be like them, Yes, everyone who trusts in them.
Thursday: Genesis 35:1-3 (NASB) Then God said to Jacob, “Arise, go up to Bethel and live there, and make an altar there to God, who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau.” 2 So Jacob said to his household and to all who were with him, “Put away the foreign gods which are among you, and purify yourselves and change your garments; 3 and let us arise and go up to Bethel, and I will make an altar there to God, who answered me in the day of my distress and has been with me wherever I have gone.”
Friday: Micah 6:6, 7 (NASB) With what shall I come to the Lord And bow myself before the God on high? Shall I come to Him with burnt offerings, With yearling calves? 7 Does the Lord take delight in thousands of rams, In ten thousand rivers of oil? Shall I present my firstborn for my rebellious acts, The fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?
Saturday: Matthew 6:21-23 (NASB) for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 “The eye is the lamp of the body; so then if your eye is clear, your whole body will be full of light. 23 But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If then the light that is in you is darkness, how great is the darkness!
Confession:
O Lord, deliver me from the lies I tell myself.
Every evil spiritual padlock and chain hindering my spiritual growth, be roasted, in the name of Jesus.
I rebuke every spirit of spiritual deafness and blindness in my life, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, deliver me from the lies the enemy tells me.
O Lord, empower me to resist satan so that he would flee from me.
I bind the strongman behind my spiritual blindness and deafness and paralyze his operations in my life, in Jesus' name.
I anoint my eyes and my ears with the blood of Jesus.
I choose to believe the report of the Lord and no other, in the name of Jesus.
Let the fire of the Holy Spirit melt my resistance, in Jesus' name.
O Lord, restore my spiritual eyes and ears, in the name of Jesus.
Lord, anoint my eyes and my ears that they may see and hear wondrous things from heaven.
Let the fire of the Holy Spirit smash my pride, in Jesus' name.
O Lord, anoint me to pray without ceasing.
I send the fire of God to my eyes and ears to melt away every satanic deposit, in the name of Jesus.
Let my spiritual eyes and ears be wide open, in the name of Jesus.
In the name of Jesus, I capture every power behind all my spiritual blindness and deafness.
Let my spiritual sight and ear hearing drum receive healing, in Jesus' name.
Holy Spirit, rain on me now, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit, uncover my darkest secrets, in the name of Jesus.
You spirit of confusion, loose your hold over my life, in Jesus' name.
In the power of the Holy Spirit, I defy satan's power, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Spirit, pour Your healing power on me, in the name of Jesus.
Thanksgiving:
Thank God for His testimonies of others that He made a way for, that come to our attention and make us believe it would work for us too.
Thank God for His wisdom that He consistently pours out and how it meets us in just the right times of our need.
Thank God for His generosity that helps us live a full life: generous mercy; love; gifts, etc.
Thank God for helping you identify ever roadblock to your destiny including (the) people.
Thank God for continuing to barricade and detour you from the roads that go nowhere.
Thank God that even when it appears so, He never lets us down!
Supplications:
Pray for a disdain, a hatred, for everything God hates, without any exceptions.
Pray for pruning in your life and those you are around most, so that your lives never cease to be fruitful.
Ask God for a keen awareness of anything that remotely resembles an idol, trying to set itself up in your life.
Ask God to give you a boldness when it comes to those you influence, to tell them to forsake their idols for the presence of God.
Ask God to reveal to you the gifts and giving that pleases Him most and the ones that please Him the least.
Pray for the Good Shepherd Top Tier leadership.

Meditation: “HIS-story Heals History”
We were meeting on the area of the trying topic of “racial reconciliation”, which should better termed, “racial equality” or even “racial healing”. The cohorts were African American pastors who are all passionate about delivering their people from generational genocidal self-inflicted wounds, as well as, the systematic wounds of an indifferent nation. The one person of European descent invited in the room, was there as our guest, to help craft a narrative to the dominant culture in our city, that would hopefully create dialogue and opportunities for honesty, humility, hope, healing and eventual transformation. After several meetings, one of my feared prejudices has confronted us. Even, our guest has need of healing. Although he entered with a stellar resume, it is so often true, our baggage is often exposed, the more turbulent the ride becomes. The fact still holds true. The ONLY remedy to heal history, is to bring every aspect of HIS-story, into it. It is so with our sinful past. You can’t fix it yourself. Prayer is your only option. Think on these things!
Monday: Deuteronomy 4:9 (NASB) “Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.
Tuesday: Colossians 2:18 (NASB) Let no one keep defrauding you of your prize by delighting in self-abasement and the worship of the angels, taking his stand on visions he has seen, inflated without cause by his fleshly mind,
Wednesday: Isaiah 61:1 (NASB) The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me, Because the Lord has anointed me To bring good news to the afflicted; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,
To proclaim liberty to captives And freedom to prisoners;
Thursday: Isaiah 61:2 (NASB) To proclaim the favorable year of the Lord And the day of vengeance of our God; To comfort all who mourn,
Friday: Isaiah 61:3 (NASB) To grant those who mourn in Zion, Giving them a garland instead of ashes, The oil of gladness instead of mourning, The mantle of praise instead of a spirit of fainting. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, The planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
Saturday: Isaiah 61:4 (NASB) Then they will rebuild the ancient ruins, They will raise up the former devastations; And they will repair the ruined cities, The desolations of many generations.
Confession:
Let the water of life flush out every unwanted stranger in my life, in the name of Jesus.
You enemies of the gospel in my life, be paralyzed, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, begin to clean away from my life all that do not reflect You.
Lord Jesus, nail me to Your cross. I reject every spiritual pollution, in the name of Jesus.
Lord Jesus, break me, melt me, mold me, fill me and use me by the power of Your spirit.
O Lord, I lose myself in You. Holy Spirit fire, ignite me to the glory of God, in Jesus' name.
O Lord, let the anointing of the Holy Spirit break every yoke of backwardness in my life, in the name of Jesus.
Let my spirit-man become divine fire, in the name of Jesus.
I frustrate every demonic arrest over my spirit-man, in Jesus' name.
Let the blood of Jesus remove any retrogressive label from every area of my life, in the name of Jesus.
All anti-breakthrough decrees, be revoked, in the name of Jesus.
Holy Ghost fire, destroy every satanic garment in my life, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, give unto me the key to good success, so that anywhere I go, the doors of prosperity will be opened unto me.
Let every wicked house constructed against me be demolished, in the name of Jesus.
Let the road close against every unprofitable visitation in my life, in the name of Jesus.
O Lord, establish me a holy person unto You.
O Lord, let the anointing to excel in my spiritual and physical life fall on me.
Thanksgiving:
Thank God for insight to do exactly what He directs, so that your whole life can be a model testimony of obedience.
Thank God for sending people around you who are examples of humility and hungry for Him.
Thanks God for deflecting the sharp words of your critics, so they do not trick you into petty conflict or bouts with disappointment and dismayment.
Thank God for teaching you the ability to bear a cross and the power that comes with it.
Thank God for His Holy Spirit that reminds us of His promises in the night seasons and cause us to laugh, rejoicing at what’s to come.
Thank God for His-story healing your history.
Supplications:
Pray for people who are wounded from gossip and slander, by others in the House of God.
Pray for those who have been through the struggles/challenges of discrimination and racial prejudice, to become mentors/teachers, for the next generation, so they never forget, and appreciate the sacrifices of their generation.

Friday: Psalm 119:77-80 (MSG) Now comfort me so I can live, really live; your revelation is the tune I dance to. 78 Let the fast-talking tricksters be exposed as frauds; they tried to sell me a bill of goods, but I kept my mind fixed on your counsel. 79 Let those who fear you turn to me for evidence of your wise guidance. 80 And let me live whole and holy, soul and body, so I can always walk with my head held high.
Saturday: Psalm 119:91, 92 (MSG) Your Word and truth are dependable as ever; that's what you ordered - you set the earth going. 92 If your revelation hadn't delighted me so, I would have given up when the hard times came.
Meditation: “No More Delays”
Jesus had been on a three-year discipleship training tour. There were challenges every step of the journey. He took careful consideration about every lesson He taught. He never took one moment in time for granted. He did not allow those closest to him nor those who were at a distance and came near for a temporary look, to get away with casual, small talk comments concerning life, that effected others destiny. Then, when time rolled itself out to the right moment, the scripture makes this statement about Him: “He set His face to Jerusalem”. He determined that this is my time to focus my attention to my final assignment. No delays. No distractions. To do that, one must know their purpose for being. Do you? Think on these things!
Monday: Philippians 4:6, 7 (NASB) Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Tuesday: I Peter 1:13 (NASB) Therefore, prepare your minds for action, keep sober in spirit, fix your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
Wednesday: I Peter 1:14 (NASB) As obedient children, do not be conformed to the former lusts which were yours in your ignorance,
Thursday: I Peter 1:15, 16 (NASB) but like the Holy One who called you, be holy yourselves also in all your behavior; 16 because it is written, “You shall be holy, for I am holy.”
Friday: I Chronicles 16:11 (NASB) Seek the Lord and His strength; Seek His face continually.
Saturday: Ephesians 5:15-17 (NASB) Therefore be careful how you walk, not as unwise men but as wise, 16 making the most of your time, because the days are evil. 17 So then do not be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.
