What are

Greetings from the Youth Pastor:

It is with great joy that I serve the Good Shepherd Baptist Church as your new Youth Pastor.  I look forward to getting to know you and your family as we seek to impact the Kingdom of God together.  We have a dedicated group of adults serving as Youth Facilitators and Leaders who are a vital part of the ministry here at Good Shepherd Baptist Church.

It is our prayer in 2015 that we will revive our youth and re-establish the importance of the word of God in their daily lives through participation in ministry.  There are various ways our young people can participate in ministry here at Good Shepherd Baptist Church.  Currently our ministries for youth include regular worship services, choir, ushers ministry, dance ministry, drama ministry, recreation ministry (seasonal sports), Bible Study and Practical Life Classes.  During the year there are also opportunities for local missions, educational travel, leadership development, and spiritual growth.

Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to serve you.

Yours in Christ!
Rev. Angel White, Youth Pastor

GSBC Youth & Young Adult Ministries

Youth Ministry Purpose

The purpose of the Youth Ministry is to present the Gospel of Jesus Christ to children and youth.  The Youth Ministry provides youth and their families with adult Youth Leaders who are trained and ready to serve. Each age group receives messages that are Christ-Centered and promotes the saving grace of the Cross.  The youth ministry hosts worship services and discipleship opportunities once a month for each age group.  This offers a time of learning and spiritual formation with worship, relevant sermons, and fellowship.  Each child will be given an opportunity to serve Good Shepherd Baptist Church and the community through ministry participation, outreach, and community service. We seek to establish a ministry that becomes the faith foundation for youth who will make a lifetime commitment to serve Christ and His Kingdom.
